I don't, the shuffles aren't shipping yet.

I hope they do because there's nothing I like more than new software but I don't think they will.

Well correct me if I'm wrong (cause I truly don't know), but once they release the new shuffle today wouldn't it be in apple stores as of now where you shop hence meaning a need for it?

The Remote app for the iPhone just updated to accommodate 8.1. So it's probably eminent.

Not necessarily. The online apple store states a shipping time of 3-5 days and the brick and mortar stores usually do not get them or release them before the online store does. I think iTunes 8.1 will officially come out on Thursday or Friday as it has in the past.

on its release notes indicates "bug fixes and compatibility for iTunes 8.1"

LOL I've been trying to figure it out to no luck so far... changing 02 to 10 or 1 or .1 does not work .. nor does just having it be simply 8 only ... something has to be changed in the info before the /iTunesxxx.dmg
