    I would have loved to have iTunes 8 right now....

    Well I guess that pretty much confirms it then?

    How come when you go to the site in your link, then click on the link in the post, you're taken to some random bitch ass complaint about McCain?

    On a side note, I hope iTunes 8 brings lots of good changes. Unfortunately, I think it'll be Apple doing their thing and screwing with things that do not need to be screwed with. :(

    Yeah I thought that was weird as well. What I did was as soon as the first site appeared, I quickly pressed the stop button so it wouldn't redirect to that political site.

    Bosh it up on torrents within minutes it would seed to a few people and by then the tracing of it would be impossible.

    Apple released it to the public, though by mistake. They have no control over it, though they could request him to delete it, I do not believe they have any legal rights.

    Edit: Who bets front page for this?

    According to the article this was just a RC, I wouldn't really trust my library to it, especially if it was from a torrent. Just wait 'til Tues.

    ;)

    Well all we have is a screenshot of a download button which could have been photoshopped in easily, until I see proof shots of iTunes 8, or even better have it on my desktop i'm not convinced.

    :D

    If you read the link, it says other users also reported seeing the download link.

    And $20 on Page 2. :p

    Like the other poster, the person who downloaded it should upload the setup as a torrent.
    But I think Apple may find out about that and might end up getting very upset.

    The original comment on the linked page contains the following code at the top of it:
    Code:
    <p><meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0;
    url=http://forums.nonewbs.com/showthread.php?
    t=56035"></p>

    Which causes the page to redirect to that "random bitch ass complaint about McCain"
    Bit naughty by the poster if they did it, but I guess it could have been injected through a flaw in the site...

    The guy who posted about it on digg has his "leaked iTunes 8" stuff redirect to a spam/crap anti-gay,anti-digg site.

    Worthless blather.

    This should be page 3 arn :)

    I would say go ahead and Wasteland it due to the spam link within the AI article. That alone makes it suspicious.

    So much for my first attempt at posting rumors, but it's a learning experience.

    He claims to have iTunes 6 still installed and doesn't want to install iTunes 8.

    I say it's bull honestly. Who really cares anyway? The event is tomorrow!

    You guys know it's fake right? It went up on RapidShare or something and it's zune set-up software. Rumors of leaked software without screenshots of the actual software? Please.
