Am I missing the function to turn off the arrows next to the song titles, artists, etc? If Apple took this function away that's a huge annoyance.

I think the new visualizer is actually BORING. It does respond to note and acoustic changes very well but it is very simple and the balls become monotonous after a few songs.

G-Force is still the super best visualizer I have ever used and added to my iTunes. It is so adjustable and I don't think I have ever seen the same pattern twice.

Can anyone verify whether or not the Cover Flow + Nvidia + Vista = crappy performance bug still exists in iTunes 8?

Your PC will be either 32 or 64 bit.

If you are not sure which it is, go for the 32 bit option I would say. 32 bit should work on a 64 bit machine, but not vice versa.

This is not descriptive enough, the only part you need to make a 64 bit machine is the processor, all of the other components work fine. Almost all processors release in the last 2 years are 64 bit compatible.

If your wondering why 64 bit is around then one main advantage is it address space for ram.

32 bit can only address (use) 3.5 Gb of ram, while 64 bit goes quite a bit further than that. in to the TB i believe

Nice -- they finally made it so that all your album covers are loaded into coverflow upon initial iTunes launch. No blank album covers until you actually look at the album in coverflow anymore!

It's a drastic improvement over its previous version, that's for sure. I got a slight WMP deja-vu, but I'm pleasently surprised. It's funny how I was cursing the fact that there's no WMP-like library setup for mac until today.

I just noticed that Genius doesn't work for the beatles (it won't create a genius playlist) but it will work for Radiohead bootlegs that obviously aren't on iTunes. LOL. Its like they specifically disabled The Beatles from working with Genius.

they also specifically disable AC/DC

But Sad Song, by Oasis, which has never been on iTunes, works fine for making Genius playlists.

Unwanted Tunes

I'm using iTunes 8, and cannot find a way to keep the unchecked songs from syncing onto my iPhone. My 3G Nano does not sync the undesired tracks.

iTunes 8 is working great. I'm loving it and how it separated Apps from my iPhone categories.

It works great except as noted above. Do you load your entire Music list to your iPhone? I have many titles that I keep on my laptop, but don't want in my phone or nano. That's why I unchecked the titles, but the artists and songs keep ending up on my phone. Wondering why the check box selection works on my iPod and not my iPhone.

iTunes Accounts

Is there an easy way of finding out what computers I have authorized my itunes account on? If so, how?
