And, for those of you who keep recommending party shuffle, the request to incorporate cueing is for those of us who do not want to create a playlist of any kind at the moment just the ability to cue up songs on the fly.
One more request on my wish list, when I double click an album cover in cover flow iTunes should ONLY play that album and then STOP.
That won't happen, because iTunes sees it as one long continuous string of songs that you want to play. It would be too difficult to incorporate that into the code and still keep those who like it to play continuously happy.

If so, it's about time they took a good and hard look at their code. The reality is that other players are able to queue songs.

I really must be misunderstanding what you want, because if you set party shuffle to use "music" (ie not a playlist) and have "0" upcoming songs - then it queues up songs on the fly. (And if there's nothing in the queue it plays a random song - is that the problem, you don't want random?)
Anyway, one of us misunderstands something.
And either way - I agree that the Party Shuffle is not a well used feature, lots of people never use it and it'd be good to make something more useful at a real party (dragging songs you like to party shuffle is not self-explanatory - and if people double click a song it overrides the party shuffle).
ps. If you do use it doesn't clear your queue when you restart. The easiest way to clear the cue is to start playing it and just hit "next-next-next-(etc)"
be able to play avi's as easily as mp4's
