I also found a solution by editing the hosts file.

This is a baseband issue. People have told me it has to do with people who have either jailbroken in the past, or have used TinyUmbrella to save their SHSH files. I haven't done either so I have no idea how my baseband got screwed up.

Anyways, deleting the GS.APPLE line in your host files and saving works as a quick fix
