You can easily open a US account wherever you are, Google it, you don't need payment info or anything, especially for free apps. Repurchase your apps? WTF are you talking about? Yes, you need to sign in and out of both store accounts to update apps on both, etc, but its a small price to pay.

Was wondering if someone could post a tutorial on how to safely do this? I've been Googling but have come up short!

Reality is a bitch, the cell companies will never be able to offer truly unlimited access. The problem is you can only push so much data through a given spectrum allotment. So providers have to use various methods to keep the facilities available to everyone.

This is in sharp contrast to physical net connections as the suppliers there have an almost unlimited capacity to improve their systems. Cell towers on the other hand have very limited flexibility.

That's not actually an accurate description of the capacity issues today. Cell traffic IS a "physical net connection", since all traffic is routed over copper or fiber after reaching the cell (or a microwave relay further downline). Additionally, the "spectrum" issue is only a LOCAL limitation for each cell. That is, by adding MORE cells with SMALLER ranges, the provider can increase capacity by reusing frequencies without interference.

There is not "limited flexibility" - there is only the limit of how much money the company wants to spend. Increasing backhaul is easy, just add more copper or (preferably) fiber serving a cell site. Sub-sectoring is another way to increase capacity - just add more radio transceivers to a cell site (e.g. increase from 3 to 6).

In summary, as usual, money is the answer. And providers never like to spend more money than the bare minimum. There is no particular limitation that prevents much higher-capacity cell services today.

In the Netherlands, I can watch trailers on iTunes, FrontRow, and in the browser. But this app is not available in the NL.

From the closeup it looks like Merida (I think thats her name) has textures for eye brows verses a hair system. I could be wrong but thats what it looks like.

I'm still fascinated how good the hair looks when its in motion. I need to get me a copy of Renderman.

They still haven't fixed...your Internet connection to be faster? It's obvious the app is trying to stream the videos, there isn't enough bandwidth, so the app switches to a lower resolution video that doesn't require as much bandwidth when it runs out of buffer. The high-res trailers require a lot of bandwidth, even my desktop computer needs to buffer the 1080p videos up before playing them.

Not much to fix with a 128 Mbit connection and a 801.11n network...

I've got a 100Mbps network on 11n 1.5 metres from my AEBS, and I still can't stream a 1080p trailer without buffering, I don't think Apple's giving us unlimited download speed :(

Come on Apple! Let us download the app in other countries, I regularly the trailers at Apple.com/trailers, but it'd be better if I could use the app when on my iPhone or iPad.

What version is Renderman up to now? I was using 1.0, I believe, in my computer graphics class.
