itunes Movies disappearing

Does anyone know how to get this back? I can see some of them but about 80% of them are just gone?

Movies you’ve purchased are missing? Movies you could rent are missing? 4K versions of movies?

Missing on your TV? Missing in iTunes on a computer? Streams or purchases?

Elaborate so we can understand the problem.

If movies are disappearing in both Apple TV *and* iTunes*, my guess would be related to your account.... Otherwise its probably a firmware issue

I'm having the same thing on Apple TV, except their not disappearing, but Apple TV things i have not bought them, but they play ok in iTunes.

Rather than try and chase Apple around for answers, i put this down to a firmware issue..... If its like, happening all the time Apple can at least look into it,,, Much harder if it's in intermittent like mine.

Thanks it appears it related to an extended version of a movie that is no longer offered.

Also I noticed if you bought SD versions on the apple TV they wont play anymore. you need to airplay it from an iOS device

No... movies on iTunes are always available. If you bought that is.
