Itunes store blocked in Gunagzhou,China

Can't you just use a proxy to access www.apple.com?

Something is definitely wrong here as I am in Hong-Kong now and can not access the Itunes store either to purchase applications. Is anyone else here out side of the US having difficulties accessing the Itunes store to make application or music purchases??

I am starting to think that this also may be an Apple problem as all my credit cards are working and I now get credit card declined errors. Anyone else having similar problems😕

i've never bought anything from the store, all FREE apps. but it does validate my username everytime i download a free app

Get a VPN

If you don't mind: 1) Paying and 2) Your password(s) going through someone else's server (granted, encryption should make this OK but some people are just paranoid).

Ok.. Now I am positive that it was not just a China problem. I got back into Hong-Kong and into Taiwan and in none of these places am I able to download and purchase applications like I was able to in the past and it looks like I am not the only one having problems these days. Here is a link from the Apple Discussions forum. So far we have 4 pages of complaints and growing.
