Itunes store down?

Trying to get apps on phone. Can anyone log into itunes right now? I cant get it to take any credentials on phone or mac.

I wasn't able to connect to the Mac App store about a half hour ago. But it's fixed now 🙂

I've been trying for about an hour to update a few apps. Neither my Mac or iPad can get updates. It gets as far as asking for password (sometimes), then apparently times out. At times, I have trouble even connecting to the iTunes store itself (haven't tried the Mac App store).

I'm almost willing to bet money this has something to do with making sure the App Stores servers will be able to handle the launch of Lion tomorrow or Thursday...

Down for me too 7pm ET. Can't search from iPad and won't accept my login to purchase apps. At first it I thought it was my iPad 2 wifi problem rearing itsnhead again.

iBooks store was down for me too, although after a bunch of tries I finally got my book to download.

Mac App Store and iOS App Store seem to be working now. I want Lion already... I'm becoming restless. Why? I have no idea.

i just accessed appstore from my iOS5 b3 iPhone 4, in the "featured" tab it showed nothing.

MacAppStore works fine though.
