No lag on mine either. Although I am running ML dev preview. Awesome machine, no doubt about it.

What configuration are you using? :)

i got the 2.3/16/256 as well. (hasn't shipped yet)
mostly got it because I couldn't justify the $600 for the .3 ghz and 512 gb storage. i shouldn't be experiencing much worse experience than the 2.6 right? like lag? based on benchmarks...
(i'm fine with the 256 gb drive until a 3rd party comes out with one down the road).

Im also awaiting this bad boy to arrive, though can someone tell me
if it's possible to open the lid with one hand, like on the macbook air?

thx:)

i don't think you're lying. but from anandtechs review, he basically said the RMBP is borderline unusable with lion and is much improved with ML, although still not perfect.

so i have no idea how your magical computer all of a sudden has no lag whatsoever in lion. just weird is all.

I have the base model and experience no lag either, I have no clue what was wrong with Anandtechs model, but from all the tabs and even on the verge I have no problems with this "lag".

the lag is pretty noticeable if you're running on the intel 4000, but once you switch to the 650m, it's completely gone.

I've been playing with my base model rMBP all day and as long as your plugged in and on the 650m you won't notice any lag.

In addition, there is zero lag on a thunderbolt display either but that should be a given since its running at a lower resolution.

Exaggerate much? Anandtech gave the machine an Editors Choice award.

"Borderline unusable" is quite a stretch.

On battery power, it's definitely lagging when browsing theverge.com. It's much better with AC power. dGPU is much more powerful than the integrated HD4000.

BTW, I'm using the 2.6/8/512 model. Bought 3 days ago in local Apple store.
