Absolutely love Leopard. Can't think of going back even if I have to.

It is running real smooth for me.

Nope sorry...Leopard's been fantastic for me, with the exception of this problem I have once or twice a week with my MBP not wanting to come out of sleep mode. I'm hoping that's fixed with 10.5.3.

I will admit 10.5.0 was quite a bit slower and had more bugs than Tiger but with .2 I'm not having any problems. When I had to reformat my MacBook I considered downgrading to Tiger but stuck with Leopard.

would love to go back to tiger, but my husband bought me leopard because I wanted it. So to keep peace in the house, it will still have leopard. ;)
One of the reasons why is because of the sleep mode function. Sometimes it doesn't want to go to sleep when I put it to sleep.

Never had a problem with Leopard after the 10.5.2 update. The 10.5.1 release and the previous one was terrible and I had to suffer through it using the Pro Apps. Now, I barely have any issues.

I have a Penryn MBP and i have never used anything faster... other than the Mac Pro at my job, and my fiancee's 24" iMac.

Nope, I'd rather cut off my right hand than go back to 10.4

<3 Leopard

Here Here! No problems with Leopard. It's faster than Tiger and way too many new features for me to go back to Tiger. Besides, it's not like you can just choose to go back to Tiger. There's no Tiger for Intel on retail disks anyway.

UI animations aren't as smooth, it's true.

But I haven't had any application stability problems with Leopard (CS3 is not crashing for me, at least any more than it did under Tiger) and giving up Spaces and Time Machine at this point would be like cutting off my left hand. I'll stick with Leopard, thanks.

Do you have enough RAM? Leopard is definitely more RAM-hungry than Tiger. 2GB on my older MacBook Pro (sadly, it won't accept more) is just barely enough. 4GB on my Penryn MBP is quite comfortable.

Got leopard with my 2.8GHz Alum imac last October. Runs great w/4 GB of RAM.

Also none of my Adobe CS3 applications have ever crashed. Sorry to see you have issues.

Tiger felt more robust to me. But I could never go back because I use Spaces all the time.

One issue that is really getting on my nerves with Leopard though is if I minimise a window to the Dock and then put the computer to sleep, when I wake it up again the minimised window cannot be maximised again, and I have to force quit the program.

Oh, really? That really sucks, I wonder if it's been reported to Apple yet...

It was until i was playing around with 'Mainstage' that comes with Logic that id had enough. the cpu usage during mainstage was always about 25% even when doing nothing and it would often peak when i never remember there being any problem before. There was also a noticeable lag after pressing the key which i never had before.
10.5.2 is substantial improvement for me over 10.4.9. Time Machine alone is worth the upgrade.

But your comments remind me of a post at TUAW on Leopard problems with some music software. Perhaps you're experience some of those same issues.
