Thats actually kinda funny. Seems like somebody should have done their homework and found out what the iPhone could do before they bought it.

No forwarding texts either! My old non-smart phone from like 5 years ago could forward texts.

LOL! That was hilarious!

Still dont understand why this guy is pissed off about iPhone not having MMS....:confused::confused:

If he needs a MMS on a phone, why did he buy iPhone???
Shoulda bought blackberry or something else.

funny video. I have actually needed MMS. I fell in love with it on my Sprint Instinct, then got an iPhone. I send a text to my parents describing their grandson riding his bike for the first time, and they say, "Send me a picture!"
I don't respond

I just wasted 4m30s of my life watching that.

Something tells me Steve Jobs could care less what that guy has to say. I find it funny when the guy says "be respectful."

Just out of curiosity, why do lots of people on this forum like to say "X could care less about Y"? You do realize you're getting the phrase completely wrong and probably saying the opposite of what you want to?

If someone could care less about something it means they care about it!

If someone couldn't care less it means they're at the limit of how little they could care about it.

Saying Steve Jobs could care less about this means he's actually a bit worried.

Isn't publicly threatening someone (especially a famous and powerful figure) frowned upon by the U.S. legal system?

I enjoyed the video, though.

i for one blame the school system lol

Brilliant.

I was just reading the SwirlyMMS forums the other day, and am simultaneously amazed and appalled...amazed that somebody was able to come up with a software solution to the problem, and appalled at the number of hoops that people are required to jump through in order to get it to work (especially with AT&T).

you just wast a minute of your life posting a rich and informative comment. This guy is a hero. iPhone just don't have features like other cheap phones and it's out by one year. Even phone features like visualvoice mail arent available in all countries. So you get an iPhone with a under developed phone module.. It's better then buy a touch a get a $50 phone with 3g videocall, mms, mp3 ringtones yadada

smack steves face!

Hmmm. How much does it cost to send an MMS anyway? 25cents? It's free to just use email. But hey, I totally agree that we should at least have the option. So yes, we should have MMS. :)
I don't know if I'd ever use it though. I'd probably still just email pics to my friends.

How about an App? Could someone make an App that sends and receives MMS for free?

.

This was the line outside the Apple Store near my house, earlier today,
when they announced they were down to only ten phones left.
When this guy heard that he might have to use a Blackberry for one more day, he went psycho!

A friend sent me a text, requesting that I forward it not knowing that I can't on my iPhone. I wasn't in the mood t hear her make fun of my phone, so I didn't tell her that my smartphone could not forward the text. Bummer!!!!

And yeah, I want MMS too:D

You can do a lot more with MMS than just send pictures to one another. This is something a lot of people seem to forget.

Surely you can just copy and paste the original text into a new text, yes?

No! What do you mean no... Huh, the iPhone doesn't do copy and paste!
:p

I must say, I've never sent an MMS message in my life even when I had a phone that could do it. I just don't see the point when I can send an email instead.

It's the same thing as saying "priceless." It's a British saying that basically means one could not care less. In other words, they care the least amount possible. Americans have altered the saying to "could care less" in the American typical way of butchering the English language. I could speak in the British form, but then I would get questions just the same.

I'm so sick of this bullsh*t about people shouldn't have bought the phone if they want MMS. The fact is it's supposed to be a phone that can do everything but beyond that it's a phone and to not do something that 10$ phones from walmart can do is beyond ludicrous. I know everyone here is really into Apple. Great I like the company too but that doesn't mean they can never make mistakes.

If this guy actually causes more people to speak up, then awesome becuase his problem really pisses me off.

On a side note... f**k email. Hardly anyone I know has a phone that can do it so no it's not a viable alternative.

FINALLY, SOMEONE is saying what EVERYONE is thinking / feeling.

Uh no... as great as this feature would be, not everyone I know has a phone that can actually receive MMS properly.

I have never found the use for MMS, oh and which Rogers would probably find a way to charge us Canadian's if it were ever to be introduced to the iPhone.

I do not think it was a mistake that they forgot MMS. There had to be a reason. People want MMS and that means more money not to mention all basic smartphones and all other smartphones have MMS.

I am sure Steve and his people talked about it.
