My University's computer store now list iLife '08 as in stock at a price of $39, the same price they sold iLife '06 at. Same price for iWork as well.

I just ordered!

Yeah, Apple seems to be backing off the discount for educational users of late. The UK Higher Education store iPod discount is practically non-existant, and the software discounts seem to have been reduced dramatically..

The normal education price for iWork/iLife 08 is £50, a £5 discount. I remember picking up iWork/iLife 06 for £35 from the Higher Education store.

Does anyone with access to the UK Higher Ed store know the price of iWork and iLife 08? If it's not much below £50 I'd rather just order now from the normal edu store rather than wait until tomorrow when I can access the HE store...

Edit : xUKHCx answered my question as I was typing it, cheers!

UK Store:
iLife 08 - £55.00
iWork 08 - £55.00

iWork 08 - £50.53

Higher Education Store:

iWork 08 - £35.25

Do I have to be at one of the listed schools/uni's on the HE site to place an order?

I've got access from my school system to the Apple HE site, but my school isn't in the list. Can I just order and select any school? Will they check with the school I select to see if I'm at that particular place...???
