Ya I like where the brush idea is going......Imagine painting on a 30 inch monitor with PS, Painter or even zbrush running one day. :D

Until some good pressure sensitivity gets implemented, then the styluses and brushes really don't do much for me.

WaveCradle has lost its mind. For $20-30, I can buy a decent set of speakers to plug into my iPhone for much better results.

Try this for a quick and similar value of amplification:

Stick iphone half way into 16 oz. plastic beverage cup with loud speakers
pointing towards back of cup!
(disclaimer: Cup should be EMPTY:)

Wait, I should have shown this at iworld for $ 14.95

In the police station:
"Officer, I want to report that I lost my wallet with my credit card, my ID, my money and my phone inside it..."

As Mr Mugger Burglar goes in to his house (what with the address and key) and steals everything he owns.

LOL, at least Find My iPhone will locate your wallet.

Too bad the wallet case is too thin to hold a condom. But then again, anyone who probably buys the wallet case isn't getting laid anytime soon.

:D

What's the point of such industry shows?

Bottle opener cases? Is this the pinnacle of idiocy, or can we go a bit lower.

An intellectual lambada dance.

If the iPhone wallet case had a lanyard hole, I'd be all over it.

The iPhone wallet: For those who like to keep all their eggs in one basket

... for time when it would come in really handy - at the gym in my arm band. ID and HID card and car key, done.

I beg to differ. ;)

who needs a bottle opener case for your iPhone? just use the side of the iPhone to open it. works every time, no damage to the phone either.

…and people wonder why Apple pulled out of Macworld?

Also—NFC wallet in the iPhone 5 please.

wow

iPhone cases with bottle openers?... and with an accompanying app to count how many bottles have been opened?? $25 to $40 plus shipping....???

... perhaps the dumbest ideas so far.

Yep

"The iPad can't sense pressure"

Well, obviously the iPad can sense pressure. But maybe not enough for brushes? Maybe it can't make a distinction between one level of pressure and another?

Not sure what the article author was implying.

You must've had bad luck then.

I used to have a blackberry with a magnet in the case for putting the phone to sleep. That did erase the magnetism on train tickets. No problem with the mobile radiation though, I wouldn't have though.

Can those metal stands really increase dB? I have an aircurve play which was cheap and works well as an amplifier using the classic gramaphone-style-funnel approach. But just a bent piece of metal...?

Yes. A similar point was made about pressure sensitivity in garage band. It can only pretend to detect different pressures by using the accelerometer. Doubt that would work with the light touch of a brush.

Haters gonna hate

The Opena case looks pretty sweet.

My sister-in-law got me one as a semi-gag gift this Christmas. It's quite sturdy so the flexion of using it does not bother the phone. The case weighs more than the phone, of course.

It also made it through the TSA gauntlet without any problems, for what that's worth.

I'm not sure I would have bought it myself, but it's semi-useful and a functional case when the opener is retracted.

Well someone like myself that drinks lots of craft beers that are not twist offs, a bottle opener is always a valuable commodity and not having to have one on my key chain would be a plus.

I understand not everyone drinks so its not for everyone but not everything is but thats no reason to bash it and call people who would find it useful drunks.
