Could someone pls confirm my findings?

I could transfer OUT my 1.4gb mov file from my jb iPad 2 (jailbreakme) to my jb iPad 1(redsnow) via CCK easily...but NOT the other way round...

Why? Why? sheesh....

It's precisely what I was trying to get across. I thought that would be evident given that I outlined the precise circumstances that allowed me to navigate the application just fine.

I blatantly asked you how many people reported it. I was trying to gauge how widespread the issue was. That was a genuine question and you somehow ignored that.

I hardly think using only free and drm-free imported books is a typical use of iBooks. BTW, this is the same thing that happened the last time. Free and DRM-free books worked, DRM books didn't. The last time, iBooks produced an error message, this time is doesn't, I simply crashes.

Then say so. Not everyone keeps up with all the ongoings in the jailbreak world. I read your statement as is: "jailbroke iPad, iBook crashes". I offered my own experience that was different.

Instead of conversing like an adult, you snap back like a child for absolutely no reason, when I was only trying to help. Great way to communicate, champ.
 
comex stated the CCK has issues with the iPad 2. I'm sure he will patch it or update JBM. Relax.
 
So far so good..I woke up this morning..installed Cydia which was SUPER FAST..at first I did not understand how come the redirecting files things in Cydia was not working but I already found out why since its related to unionfs so that makes things MUCH easier..I tried installing sbsettings but could not find it(I guess so many people were installing cydia this morning the server got overloaded) finally I did and it worked great..installed winterboard, installed infinidock/infinifolders..oh gotta go install graviboard I forgot about that one LOL..the boot load time is just fine no issues there

Exactly how would I know how many people reported this problem given there are multiple threads with problems being reported in all of them. To save you from having to actually read this entire thread, no one else has reported this problem.

Ok tks ..juz read his 2hrs ago tweet where he acknowledged the CCK problem..but what I am puzzled is that the CCK can transfer OUT pics videos but not transfer IN..so it couldn't be just a broken file system isn't it?

Congrats. It takes having to argue with you to answer a simple question. Exactly how would I gleam what you know of the topic? That is why questions are asked, it is a request of possibly gaining more information. Had you said this from the beginning, this would have been over with.

Good luck with your "issue". Hopefully someone with more patience is able to help you, because I certainly don't care to be around such unwarranted snobbery. Thank goodness in my 4 years here that I've encountered far more welcoming posters.
 
I've tried to jailbreak like 10 times.

Cydia just disappears when installing , I cleared Safari and restarted too.

Everything was working fine when using the beta version @ 4.3.0
 
It's amazing how the ones who bitch and moan that the jailbreak isn't out yet are now the ones complaining that certain things don't work.

If you e-mail comex like a normal human being, telling him of the bugs you found, he will likely get around to fixing them via patch or through an update of JBM.

Anyway, the bugs/issues I've found so far:

1. CCK access
2. Cydia lag after an app install
3. lag during transition when trying to move icons on Springboard
4. apps influenced by retinapad crash when Winterboard is installed. Known issue well documented, never fixed for months now, even before iPad 2 jailbreak.

I had the same problem. Erase everything from settings>general>reset
The ipad will reboot then try to jailbreak again.

Neither he nor I were technically calling you name. He was describing your behavior as childish. Which IMO it was.

Anybody else lose icons? I moved my iPod icon off the dock to SB and it gone. I tried to get it back with Poof but no luck.

Ok turn off infinidock on mobile substrate and my iPod icon is back

I just moved an icon off of my dock to test and it did not disappear. Just FYI. I hope that it does not happen in the future though.
 
I don't know if these have been reported, widespread, or only happening to me but:
Sometimes in Safari, I'm unable to tap links or anything on the page. To fix it, I close the tab and close safari via the multitasking tray, then it works normally.

Once again, sometimes It stops doing to momentum scrolling. To fix it, just pull up at the top past the page where it shows the black background thing and it works fine after that.

I don't know if there are because of the jailbreak or what.
 
Just did the Jailbreak with no problems, got gestures working. Got a few apps to install.

One thing I noticed when I went to cnn.com it defaulted to the mobile page when I used to get the desktop version, no biggie, just clicked on the the desktop version link at the bottom
 
Just used the new JailbreakMe and whilst my iPad 2 all works fine, apps fully functioning etc and i can connect to Cydia and download apps from there, when I try and connect to iTunes it just hangs and doesn't complete the sync. This means I'm unable to add files or movies to the iPad as I can't access the apps that I want to add things too or sync the ipad with my macbook...

Has anyone else had this issue... Solved it?

I'm on Windows so I used WinSCP to ssh into my iPad and the link to the PList editor the OP of that thread provided. Copied the files to my desktop(also copied to another folder as a backup) made the edits, dragged them back to the iPad, restarted iPad. Worked as advertised:)

ETA:
I'm not a theme user so I didn't want to install WinterBoard but if you do I think theres an app in Cydia called Gestures that will enable them also. The way in the link works perfect for me, it doesn't give you the option under settings to turn them off though but I'm fine with that also
