Well I have a bug I suppose, since I can reproduce it every time.

I have an iPad 2, 32GB Wifi. It came with iOS 4.3.3. I went to jailbreakme and jailbroke it. Cydia installed in 10 seconds. Apps installs fine from cydia and if I go through iFunBox. But when I try to go on Appstore and download anything - ANYTHING at all, be it free or not - I get this message:

"Verification required- before you can make purchases, you must tap continue to sign in, then verify your payment info".

Well, I already had my info keyed in, but sure, I'll enter it again. I click OK (it's either that or Cancel) and Appstore pops up again, showing an empty window (looks like the iTunes agreement window) for a split second, then goes back to springboard and download is cancelled.

I've tried rebooting, respringing, turning off and on, same result EVERY time.

My info is correctly entered and works fine on my iPhone 4 and iPad 1, so that's not the problem. The only real difference here is another method of jailbreaking, so I am assuming that the jailbreak has a bug.

ITS SOMETHING ON APPLES END this happened on my iPhone yesterday running iOS 5b2

Disregard the above. I entered Safe Mode and it worked fine. Turned out to be one of the apps installed from Cydia, tho I'm yet to figure out which one.

I had that happen on my stock iPad & JB iPhone a week or so ago
Hit ok to verify it'll bring up the little screen to put your credit card info. It may say VISA or some other card tap on that and choose None.

ETA: I don't keep my CC info on file. Once I buy something I remove my CC info from my itunes account. That's why I choose None and yes I got those pop up when trying to D/L free stuff also

The only thing Ive had so far is that theres an extra couple seconds delay when holding down on an app to bring up the wiggle/delete option, though that can happen on any jailbreak. Didnt have it on my touch.. probably have some new cydia app causing a problem.

And I must be imaging this or something because it makes no sense, but I could swear the click typing noise is like half the volume it used to be. I can barely hear it.

I noticed the laggy response as well when trying to move icons around. I suppose this is kernel-related.
Didn't notice the keyboard click thing though.

What is the safest way to upgrade to 4.3.3 firware?
My ipad 2 is still on 4.3 8F191
I would like to upgrade my firmware to 4.3.3 and then jailbreak.

Would it be safe to update through itunes to 4.3.3??

Can someone with RetinaPad and the iPhone version of GoogleVoice take a screen shot. I've been slowly using my google voice # to text

I was wondering if it cleared it up any when you zoomed in.
That's the only iPhone app I'm using on my ipad at the moment and if it clears it up I don't mind paying $3 for RetinaPad

Thanks

For people that have never used jailbreak, can someone list some cool things to get?

So far, I just have safari fullscreen (love the added gestures), retina display (awesome) and currently downloading Weather Elements for iPad.

Are there any notification installs for iPad?

Mostly looking for things to make the OS more useful and intuitive. Thanks in advance!

I was in the same situation. I updated through iTunes without issue, then jailbroke this morning. Its a beautiful thing---

Found another annoyance; after an app is finished installing in Cydia, the "reboot/respring device" button is extremely laggy.

Not sure if this is jailbreak related or Cydia related, but annoying nonetheless.

Okay I'm coming from Android and now using iOS so basically I'm using cydia for the first time. I am so confused lol. No apps work. It says cannot locate package. I switched from user to developer and the refresh in changes, still the same story. What am I missing?

Help appreciated :)

Wow that was amazingly easy for my iPad2 and cydia works faster than I've ever seen.

They did a good job, I'm very impressed.

Finally retinapad here I come :D

REBOOT the iDevice and then retry Cydia.. it should work then! A Fresh restart seems to do the trick ALSO - it could be because of the recent release of the Jailbreak, alot of the REPOS in Cydia are taking a pounding.. :)

Has anyone by any chance got the Camera Connection Kit to work after Jailbreaking?

General consensus from the forums is that the camera kit will not work with this jailbreak. You can wait for a fix, or restore back to stock.

I'm trying to install but it keeps timing out. Servers are being slammed right now.

Soon as I can get it installed I'll report back.

Oh, I dont need it that bad. I just want to use it as expandable memory along side with iFile and OPlayer HD. Ill wait for the fix... :) Hopefully one comes!

Same problem as every recent jb. iBooks doesn't work. You'd think the great comex would get this right for once.

Starts and terminates immediately or terminates after a few seconds when trying to open a recently purchased book.

Oh iBooks gets broken? I guess I may need to wait as I'm reading a book. I hope that great comex was sarcasm, the guy didn't have to give anyone a jailbreak

Oh, I'm sorry, I thought this was the thread to report problems.

I guess we should pass all problems past you first and let you decide if they are worthy of attention.

Mind your own business as soon as you are done worshiping at the comex alter

I just ran into a problem with Fullscreen for iPad.
After not really liking it (yay.... Over two euro for nothing....) i removed it via Cydia and now Safari behaves very strange. Most of the time inertia scrolling isn't working, and when that's happening i also can't click on anything, only after i zoom in.

Seems like i might be in for my first Restore :-/
Being on a 3G model that's not a very promising start, since the days of jailbraking might soon be over for me, with 4.3.4 on the horizon....

So if anyone might know another solution, i would be very grateful, rebooting, even reinstalling Fullscreen both didn't work.

Apaet from that i also npticed that the screen orientation is pretty sluggish as well, althoughtnthat migth be because of my installed extensions

I just tested it out and it works fine. The books I've opened were free, and the others were drm-free imported.

Have many people reported this? If I'm unaffected, then it might be a limited issue.
