Apologize for the stupidity of my question but.....

How do you do this so it will work with T-Mobile? (No AT&T here).

Thanks

Just download the new ziphone version 2 and make sure you are running itunes 7.4.3. also check everything under ziphone except 3.9ieraser and it will work like charm. only if you are running windows, i don't know about mac

Clarification and a couple of questions

I have a UK purchased iPhone week 43 1.1.2 OTB with 04.02.13_g = 4.6 bootloader.

This phone has been jailbroken using the method here: http://www.sixth-ave.com/iturbo.htm

The phone works perfectly with a UK o2 PAYG SIM. Now I want to use my phone in two different countries, UK and Greece. When in Greece I have a Greek Vodafone SIM I want to use so I have purchased an X-sim (Turbo SIM clone) and have installed iWorld on the phone in order for the Greek PAYG Vodafone SIM to work when I am in Greece.

Now that a software unlock has been released I am tempted to use the ZiPhone (Windows) method to unlock the phone but I have a couple of questions.

My unlock route would be as follows:

Update the phone with iTunes to official 1.1.3 then Jailbreak, activate and unlock using the ZiPhone method here: http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=667

With this method I get the benefits of the new features of 1.1.3 and I wont have to use the X-sim for the Greek PAYG card.

My questions are:

1 - Is the update method OK to be used on an iTunes upgraded phone?
2 - Will I have to install iWorld after the upgrade or does 1.1.3 contain a larger database of country codes?
3 - I have heard that iWorld does not work with 1.1.3 is this true?

If iWorld is not an option I can update the country codes using this method: http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=598

4 - Has anyone used the above method of adding unsupported country codes, and does it work well?

Advice on any or all of the above would be appreciated :)

Do a restore instead of upgrade to 1.1.3 for good measure prior to jailbreak.

woww easiest app ive ever used to jailbreak my phone..the new gui is sickk

Ok just a question with the new ziphone 2.2. software that was released can you use the unlock on it as well as jailbreak and activate on a 3.9 bootloader iphone?

Thanks

Worked flawlessly for me. Had a 1.1.3 phone jailbroken with Nate True's method and with an unlocked baseband from 1.1.2. Used iJailbreak to unlock it (and it upgraded it to the 1.1.3 baseband at the same time). Then decided to use a non-frankenstein jailbreak, so I did a restore in iTunes and then used its jailbreak function. Works like a charm. Very easy to use.

At last, Maps is usable again, with the repeating tiles issue gone, along with a fully functional Locate Me feature. :D

Ok I just wanted to make sure that you didn't need to use Anysim because on Ziphone 2.2 it says next to the unlock button that it's for 4.6 bootloader only.

Thanks

So I have a 3.9 bootloader with 1.1.3, I know that I have to check Unlock, Jailbreak, and Unlock, but do I have to check Verbose, or IErase BL 3.9? Also does the iphone need to be in DFU mode when you connect it and run Ziphone 2.2 or can you just connect the iphone and run ziphone?

Thanks
