Unrestricted 3G/LTE usage.
Apple can't do that. That's a carrier issue.

How would you have it done by software?
Isn't using Activator to re-assign the volume buttons just another hardware solution?
I've never actually used Activator like you have for music playback though, but it does sound like a good way to use it. I'd probably never remember which was next/previous long-press or short-press!
Activator: I had my volume buttons assigned to also control music playback; it was fantastic.
Press both to play/pause. Hold volume up or down to go to the next or previous track. No faffing about with the lock screen.
Gridlock and multi icon mover are 2 that I really enjoy and would love to see added to a future iOS.
I disagree with that now that most carriers switched to Data allowances away from unlimited.
It should be up to the subscriber how they use their allowance, and if they burn through it in a day then so be it. I disagree that carriers should have the say on how it's used.
It's even more of a nonsense idea when carriers allow tethering to use up your data allowance too - tether a device and use the data in whichever way you want, but still cannot use the data connection however you want on the device.
I once was away from home and had to tether my iPad's data connection to my laptop using USB, then on my laptop create a wifi network using that USB connection, and then connect my iPad to that wifi network, just so I could use my 3G connection unrestricted.
Then I jailbroke, and will be sticking with My3G or 3G Unrestrictor.
Annoys the crap out of me that TV apps restrict usage to WiFi only - claiming bandwidth and quality reasons. So stupid when 3G connections these days (especially in the UK, it's been around forever) are so good, sometimes better than most ADSL connections.
I don't understand why these can't be added to ios7 ... Why apple! Why!
How can you disagree (unless you are talking about disagreeing with what carriers do) with something that Apple can't control? Apple doesn't give the data, carriers do. Therefore, it's still up to the carrier. Carriers have their own rules that they put on their data, not Apple. I'm using a Verizon iPhone in the Middle East right now, but I can tether all I want because it's not on Verizon's network. When I went back to the states and used it on AT&T's network, I had those restrictions again.
