Well Crap! After reading updates on ZiPhone thing, it said it worked for the Touch too. It totally looked like it was working, but got held up on the BSD root ... part. I had to stop it, but then I had to restore my Touch. Now iTunes doesn't recognize my Touch and it's continually in recovery mode.

I've googled, but if anyone has a brilliant way to get my Touch out of recovery, please help. I've restored it like 3 times, called Apple and reinstalled iTunes. Still, nothing. Now my Touch really is a paper weight. Crap! I need a drink.

Where abouts did you read that it worked with the Touch? As my previous post said, iPhone only...
And you could try running iNdependence with the Touch plugged in and see if it kicks it our of recovery but it's unlikely :/

ZiPhone for IPT

I saw several uTube videos showing ZiPhone working like a charm with IPT's. That's why I decided to try it out for myself. As another poster said, however, they thought it only worked with 8gb IPT. Not sure why size would matter with that and I thought the iPhone and IPT had the same operating system, so why wouldn't it work. Anywho, check out the vids, it works for some people.

Yeah I've just been reading Rupert Gee's blog about how he used ZiPhone to jailbreak his 8GB Touch. I now stand officially correctd

I'm just trying to figure out why it works with 8gb IPT's , but not the 16gb. Is it something to do with buying the official Apple apps I wonder? I just want my freaking themes back man! I'm hoping the sdk allows me to apply themes, otherwise I'm gonna start hacking away at something myself.

im sure they put some other updates on the newer ipods.... im not sure though
