James Bond or Jack Bauer

First off I did a quick search of the forums and found nothing (i think) like this thread. So the question is, who is better Bond or Bauer?

My vote is for Bauer because Bond relies too much on gadgets, whereas Bauer will kill you with his bare hands or any type of object in his sights.

Bonds the ladies man, I will give him that.

Keep it friendly people, I like Bond just as much as anybody but Bauer has the edge.

I volted for Jack 'cause he is such a bad-ass -- Bond is great, but not as gritty. Although Casino Royale was grittier than the past 5 or so Bond movies so things may be looking up
