In that case, if you could take key aspects of each Bond (Connery's charm, Dalton's ruthlessness, Craig's grit, Moore's eyebrow, etc) and combine them into one super agent, then I'd definitely give the nod to 007.

He did have one day where he spent a good portion of it in Mexico...

Bauer doesn't waste time... he goes where he need to be an beats up/kills who needs to be killed... Bond takes too much time to do it with finesse...

When's the last time Bond shot someone in government protection and then immediately asked for a hacksaw and a duffel bag?

I've only seen about 5 minutes of 24, so technically I can't say whether Jack better or worse. But based on the fact that I look forward to Bond movies and actively avoid 24, I'm giving it to Bond. Jack sounds like a *******, and while Bond is also an ******* (especially Craig) at least he does it with style. Jack is a 8-year old playground bully compared to James.
