I was thinking more of hand-to-hand combat. See, in a fair fight, Bond wouldn't have his wristwatch that turns into a sub-machine gun, and Jack wouldn't use his PDA. He only relies on stuff like that to find the villain, not to beat him up.Yeah, like Bauer hasn't got gadgets... those super-broadband PDAs and mobiles of his are just as "bad" as any of Bond's gadgets...
So a mano-a-mano fight with no weapons, I think Jack would win.

Bond is too seductive. Jack would be overcome with feelings, especially that strange tingle he feels in his pants.

Get your facts right! Jack and the gang don't use Durangos! They use either Fords or Toyotas! And come on that was his wife, she died way back in season 1!

]I'd have to say Bauer would give every Bond the beatdown except for maybe the newest Bond. The newest one is far and away my favorite Bond. But if I needed someone to save the world or stop a nuke... Bauer all the way.
That's a good one. I gave Bauer the nod, even though I'm a long time Bond fan. Why? Jack's had a hard life - wife killed by his ex-lover, tortured many times, once to death, hooked on heroin in the line of duty, two years in Chinese prison, etc etc.
Bond's a fancy pants who wouldn't last a day in Jack's shoes.

Sorry Dude!!! Should've warned me! It's ok though, there is a lot of crazy things that happen. Besides, how she dies is the most important thing. When you see that, you'll flip.
Has Bond ever died several times and then come back from the dead? Didn't think so .
The fact that Jack is as tortured (on the inside and outside) as he is and stil able to do his job (ok, he was a bit wobbly the first few episodes this season) is a testament to his sheer strength. What's the worst thing that's ever happened to Bond? I'm sure he'd be totally out of it if he got captured and tortured half as terribly as Jack has.

Wasn't Bond captured and tortured by the Koreans for quite sometime at the beginning of The World is not Enough? (I'm pretty sure it was that one).

I think Jason Bourne has the edge. He's pretty tough in the movies, but in the books, watch out.
