credit card has pending charge...

Just checked, and my credit card for my 1/1 order (i7 with 3TB Fusion), has a pending charge as of 1/18. I suspect the status may change from processing by tomorrow sometime...

I noticed that when I originally placed the order. The transaction showed in my pending section for the full amount. Im assuming they do this to verify the funds are available. Apparently my card company only leaves an item on pending for about a week before they let it fall off and allow you to have access to those funds again. I cant wait until I see another $2489.94 pending charge followed by a completed status.... APPLE! I WANT YOU TO HAVE MY MONEY! COME ON! lol

1/04 and Still Processing

Placed an order for mine on January 4th, and it's still processing. The specs are as follows:

27" iMac
3.4 GHz i7
8GB SDRAM
1TB Fusion Drive (wanted the 3GB, but I needed to be able to use Boot Camp)
NVIDIA 680MX 2GB Video

I am so impatient. Everyone in our studio got new computers. Everyone else got the 21.5, and received them a while ago. Being a web developer, I love having the space to code and preview side-by-side without the need for a second monitor ... but damnit, I almost wish I'd chosen the 21.5 so I'd have it already.

I ordered January 15, 2013 at around noon PST USA.

27 inch iMac
3.4GHz Quad-core Intel Core i7, Turbo Boost up to 3.9GHz
8GB 1600MHz DDR3 SDRAM - 2x4GB
3TB 7200 RPM Hard Drive (No Fusion Drive)
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680MX 2GB GDDR5
Magic Mouse
Apple Numbered English Keyboard

32 GB Ram and AppleCare I will buy from Amazon and LaComputerCompany.com before the iMac arrives.

I expect mine to go to prepared for shipment around January 30th to February 8th at latest. That is my educated guess.

Available to ship: 3 - 4 weeks

Delivers Feb 11 - Feb 19 but I chose Overnight shipping for $30.00 just in case it helps me get it faster. Even by one day will make it worth it to me.

Don't Forget to update your order on this link:https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AlEmmsf8GxV9dE1EQnFzWGpidFduY1Qxb2ZYUFZTQ2c#gid=0 to compare when yours goes to Prepared for Shipment.

Good idea on a January order page!

I ordered my 27 inch iMac on 19th January, with the following spec:-

3.2GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5
8GB 1600MHz DDR3 SDRAM-2X4GB
1TB Fusion Drive
NVIDIAGeFrc GTX 680MX 2G GDDR5
MAGIC TRACKPAD-Z
Apple WL Kybd+User's Guide-B
COUNTRY KIT-B

I have AppleCare included as its an HE order.

Processing Items Dispatched: 3 - 4 weeks Delivers 15 Feb, 2013 - 22 Feb, 2013.

I stopped short of the I7 as well as a 3 tb fusion. Reckon what I got was best bang for my buck for my fairly light processor needs but quite a bit of gaming! :D

Mine was ordered on january 17th.
i7, 680mx, 3tb fusion, mouse and trackpad.
Estimated shipping: 14-22 February. Final destination: Italy. Still processing, obviously.
I hope that buying an imac with such production problems wasn't a big mistake; maybe when it will be at home, it will be already outdated :)

Has Apple cancelled my order???? i'm really confused and i really hope Apple have not cancelled my order as it would mean placing another one and having to wait another 3-4 weeks!!!!

They haven't cancelled your order. They pull the intial to verify funds and then they will pull the funds again once they are prepping to ship.

No Apple did not cancel your order, what Apple did is place a initial charge to check for funds , then that funds authorization will drop off if not shipped right away and then money will be re-deposited into your account. Apple will however re-authorize it once more on the day that it will move to Prepared to shipping to make sure you have the money there still. Once you see that in your bank account the 2nd time around then that is a key factor to start looking for the Processing of your order to go to Prepared for Shipment. . .
Hope this answers your question.
