Sorry to take the thread off topic! i am new to Mac and i notice most of the desktops posted have Date, Calendar, Weather information etc on them what program is this called so i can look it up as i think it looks cool?

The artist is a guy called "Orioto" on deviantART. He has a bunch of really awesome video game remake pieces. Just be sure to click the "Download" link to the left of each one to get the awesome high-res version.

I got this shot looking for Avatar Wallpaper via google, asked for the largest size. I see others have done the same. I have a feeling when the movie comes out on DVD/Blu-ray there will be tons of Wallpaper shots all over the place. The colors are beautiful.

What I wanted was to get one of breathtaking scenes of Pandora. Something of the likes of Hallelujah Mountains or something. The one I got from the official site seems to be somewhat low quality compare to others or the ones you provided.

Yeah, worked on it for about a year and a half at Weta Digital as a Texture/Shader Artist and as a Matte Painter (Digital Environments/Background artist). The Matte Painting department was also responsible for final touch-ups on these PR stills (they needed very little touch-up work as the final rendered frames where of such a high quality).

Schneiderman: get your mind out of the gutter... it's a loin cloth!
