Yeah, worked on it for about a year and a half at Weta Digital as a Texture/Shader Artist and as a Matte Painter (Digital Environments/Background artist). The Matte Painting department was also responsible for final touch-ups on these PR stills (they needed very little touch-up work as the final rendered frames where of such a high quality).

The artist is a guy called "Orioto" on deviantART. He has a bunch of really awesome video game remake pieces. Just be sure to click the "Download" link to the left of each one to get the awesome high-res version.
