Here is my current Desktop... I was testing the Windows 7 Ultimate (Beta) in VMware Fusion (works like a charm) and I just love this pic I found in the Windows>Web>Wallpapers folder.

awesome wallpaper, those shoes look sweet.

BTW how did you get the clock to show on the desktop?

and how did you change the icons on the dock?

thanks

Thx!

For the clock & date you need to use Geektool. The thing is that the date and time thing work with the use of code.
It wasn't easy to find, but I was able to find out how to set up my own.

in Geektool you need to make a "new shell entry" and after that fill in the codes.

The codes are:
Time: date +%l:%M
Date No.: date +%d
Month: date +%B
Day: date +%A

The colors, fonts and opacity can all be done easily in geektool.

Also, look HERE for help and a HOW TO.

The dock icons were changed with the use of Candybar (Not free, but there are alternatives).
The icons themselves are no longer available by the creator, but I did find a way to still get them.

These are from Google Cache.

Can you share your code/setting to get it to look like that? The clock and weather on the top left.

Oke, But check monke's thread first!
Monke...thanks by the way!!

The exact codes I used are already there.
The settings to get it to look exactly like that:

Time
Font -> Futura (Bold) - Size 100
Color -> Black @ 65% opacity

Date No.
Font -> Futura (Book) - Size 64
Color -> Black @ 65% opacity

Month
Font -> Futura (Book) - Size 22
Color -> Black @ 65% opacity

Day
Font -> Futura (Book) - Size 38
Color -> Black @ 65% opacity

You just have to shift them around to the right place and you're done.

Read the thread already a couple times.

Thank you!
