Well in Japan the Flip Phones are higher quality and cheaper then most smartphones. Also one perk of having a flip phone is not having to deal with iCloud or MobileMe or .Mac.

I think foldable displays are inevitable. Mostly because it will allow for even larger displays while still being pocketable.
