The back is solid aluminum, no back plate to detach, however it's the same size as back plate on the iphone 4 so in theory anything that is made to stick to the back of the iphone 4 will stick to the back of this case. We went with a full back plate because it protects the iphone much better then bumper style cases, however we like the look of said bumper cases so we gave you guys the choice to make it look like a bumper/2 material case.

The spring mechanism is set into the case so it shouldn't catch anything. Its much harder to see those springs in real life then in those photos.

Ah, got it. Now I understand what you meant about the camera cutout. Sounds good.

Thanks Heather, for clarifying about the back of the case. Count me in. Ive always wanted one of these metallic cases with full back protection and a healthy front "lip".

Hey guys, I was wondering if there was anything I can demonstrate in the video that you'd like to see. I was thinking of a little demonstration of the iphone in the case, opening it, using the features, show its usefulness as a camera tripod and perhaps a short driving scene with it installed on the dash.

There's also little side features like facetime, utility light, panoramas, time lapse photography, night stand clock, etc... would you guys like me to add that in?

I haven't had the time to do a full scale "production" is that something you guys want to see with music and professional editing?

If you guys want I can also send a couple cases out for review, I've already got Weisjt Tech House, On The Edge Apps, Gadget Mac as stops for the review model, any other review blogs you guys would like to see this at?

Are you guys happy with the look?
If not have any suggestions?

I gave the Kickstarter campaign alot of time to perfect, I hope to have it all clean and proper by the 30 day mark.

I usually follow Larry Greenberg and the crew at buymeaniphone.com for my reviews on youtube. Maybe give them a message and see if they are interested.

As not to double post:
Just saw the video on your kickstarter page, you need to amplify the audio, waaaay up. I had to crank the speakers to hear. Also, I think you should get a video demonstrating the prototype case physically. I think it'd be a more effective way to sell the case than the 3d renders
