Jeremy Clarkson has an iPhone

Remember this would have been recorded quite a while ago.
He was given one by apple before release I believe, I know he wrote an article about how awesome he thought it was.

(I think Jeremy is quite a big fan of apple: he is always talking about iPods and stuff like that!)

Jeremy Clarkson has had his iPhone from before the UK launch. I'm not sure if it's a US unlocked one or if he was allowed to have a UK iPhone early but he wrote that he had one in his weekly page in The Sun newspaper back in October.
He wrote that it was the first mobile phone that he could use properly.

For us Yanks who don't get this cultural reference, who is Jeremy Clarkson and why don't you want him associated with the iPhone?
Clarkson is the 'alpha dog' presenter of Top Gear, a show which is available in edited form in the States. Its a car show, but also a top ratings family viewing show 'cos it has three middle class, middle aged men, doing slighty zany stuff (go figure). For some, Clarkson is the VOICE OF TRUTH, for others he's an opinionated wanker (wanker? oh for gods sake go look it up!). All in all the man you love to hate.
I'm sort of in the middle. Personally I think he's very entertaining. Which is sort of what TV is meant to be, so good on him.
Boy, I love his show..... this week is about Lewis test on track rite? was he faster than The Stig on track? Can't wait to watch it... ... wow, yea Jeremy did carry Moto Phone last week, I guess he will replace his iPod and place it on the dashboard again if he travel to US again (will he? I doubt about it LoL).....

but im sure i heard my mum saying that Jeremy Clarkson was on radio 1 with chris moyles and both hav iPhones but Jeremys in a hacked on on vodaphone and he cant do half the stuff that chris moyles could do on his haha

Hmm...that just made me realize something.
I live in the States and I have been watching Top Gear for a few years by downloading it through torrents. This fall they brought Top Gear to BBC America.
The torrents of Top Gear episodes are each 1 hour long, while the BBC American episodes are like 45 minutes if you take into account commericals.
Are these American Top Gear episodes just being shortened for commericals or is there actually a different reason for the editing?
They've probably just cut out all the bits when they slag off americans

i saw him covering it it up pretty well, but i knew it was on iPhone straight away as I shouted out "hey, he's got an iPhone"
Actually, the shows are usually shot during the week preceeding their Sunday broadcast.
