DareDevil was ok, I liked it more because I'm a big fan of the character, at least it got made and they didn't screw it up too much, but that's also why I hated it. Because I a big comic book geek and they screwed a bunch of stuff up. Not to mention the horrible acting, dialogue, stuff that wouldn't make sense even if I didn't know the character that well... The director's cut was better, but not much. The graphic novel based on the movie was actually better than either. Least it wasn't as bad as Elektra though. That movie sucked. Or Ghost Rider, which was even worse. DD at least had it's moments like Hulk and Punisher did, even FF was fun at parts, but yeah, none of them were great. You'd think with so much source material they'd get it right, especially knowing how rabid the fans can be. But that's Hollywood for you. At least Spiderman and XMen didn't suck too much until the 3rd movies. Same with Batman. And Superman. Maybe FF2 will be better.

And yeah, she's cute and all, but not really into her for some reason. I'm more of a fan of the girl next door types like Keri Russell. She's pretty, but she's also really nice and kinda down to earth. Plus she's a better actress. Jessica's hot and all, but without a little more to go on, just not that attractive to me.

I'm glad to know that you are a big Daredevil fan like I am, leekohler. I've even got a custom-made wooden Daredevil wall-hanging in my study!

I don't mind when sequels aren't as good as originals, but it's disappointing that Daredevil wasn't a better movie, because now they are very unlikey to try again. :(

P.S. The best thing about the Daredevil movie was the opening credits -- in Braille! And the other credits were in a font I like: Serpentine Medium Oblique.

I have all the Frank Miller DDs from the 80s. :) Those were the best.

And who knows? Maybe somebody will try again and get it right sometime.
 
I went up to her in a bar and said ' I don't know whether to buy you a drink or hump your leg?' She laughed. That was right before I woke up and realised it was all a dream and I needed to Wash the sheets and have a cold shower. :p
