Jet Black iPhone 7 Plus Pre-Orders Shipping Sooner Than Expected

One could argue the back of the 5c is glossy/lacquered and those still look great IMO.

I personally have a Spigen Jet Black Plus case on its way. Can't wait to have both the case and the iPhone side by side!
Ordered through AT&T at 12:06 PST on the 9th for a Jet Black 128 gb 7+; got an estimated delivery of Oct. 14-21st.
Went and waited in line overnight with some people at AT&T when their manager said they had plenty of everything. She lied, of course.
Called last week to get info on shipments being pushed back a month or so, was told everything was on schedule, I'd have it sooner than the 14th.
Got an email today that my new delivery date is Nov. 18-25th. ****... this.
Oh, and to REALLY rub salt in the wound? AT&T's system is down, making it so I can't cancel my order, which means I can't order a phone through Apple using the AT&T Next plan.
If anybody wants to sell me on Verizon or T-Mobile, now might be the time to do it.

I wouldn't worry about it too much, I ordered a Verizon Jet Black 128 GB 7 Plus directly through Apple at 12:08 PDT immediately when the site went up for pre-orders and still have Processing Items Ships: November...:[
Bro I'm really sorry to hear that this happened to you. But to a very small extent it's your fault. Don't get me wrong just hear me out. First of all this is an "iPhone" a "new" iPhone. You know well that it will come in severely small quantities. NEVER I mean NEVER follow what a manager or employee tells you at the carrier store! They do not know crap! I learned this the hard way. When the iPhone 6 was about to be released, I went to a nearby T-Mobile store and a young girl told me that she can write mine and my wife's name down along with my telephone number to hold our iPhone 6s. Thank god I used my common sense! I preordered these iPhones online at the Apple Store and got these iPhones day one. As for the girl who wrote our names down, she never bothered to call us back. I asked her why she didn't call me her response was. Oh I went on vacation sorry. So yeah man next time just do what you did this time by preordering the iPhone on the 9th and just stay with the preorder. Stay away from the cArrier store! I'm like you waiting for the jet black 7 plus which I too ordered on the 9th.
Coming from myself who has a delivery date of oct 4-10, you guessed it! Still processing!
I got the shipment notification for my JB 256GB 7+ early Saturday morning. It is now Tuesday, and the UPS tracking info still shows "In Transit to UPS", with no expected delivery date. Last location was shown as ZhenZhou on Sunday.

They did not forget about us. However the process of making the jet black iPhone is very troublesome. Let's put it this way. Out of all the Jet Black chassis produced so far, 40 percent of those are being rejected for quality purposes. And with this color bring the most popular and sought after, well.. good luck to us. Lol!
Update this morning, changed from processing to preparing for shipment. Ordered 10ish after 12 only because the website wouldn't load, and my first order errored out halfway through, JB 128 7+, original shipment 10/18-10/31.
I just hope we get it atleast on estimated the delivery date because as the delivery date approaches i feel more worried.
I hear you bro the wait is really long so far but at the end we both know we will get our phones. To be honest, if they give me a push back date to November or December, then I'll just cancel the order and wait for the iPhone 8.

They should have a "Jet Color" line come out like they used to do with the iPods. Jet Blue, Jet Green, Jet Yellow, Jet Orange, Jet Pink, Jet Purple and Jet Product RED. LOL! They should have the polishing process down by then.
