I was thinking it would turn out to be something like this. I think it is all an act, though I wouldn't be surprised if he actually is taking drugs as part of the act. To me it seemed pretty obvious that he was in character on Letterman.

Originally I thought it was pretty cool when he said he was leaving acting to focus on music. I thought he might turn out something pretty decent, especially after the Cash stuff he did in Walk the Line, however, if he's serious about what he's doing right now, I think he's an absolute idiot.

I've read stories that his brother died at an early age. On top of it, he lived in North Hollywood for some time where the drugs are easily accessible. I wonder how much he smoked before that show.................????? Props for him actually getting to the stage

I'm not quite sure what I saw, but it was definitely awkward, whether it was intentional or not, I do not know. But parts of it were funny.

Yeah... his brother was River Pheonix. He played Chris Chambers in the 1986 movie Stand By Me, which is such a good movie. He also played Indiana Jones as a kid in the Last Crusade.

He actually tries to act like hes from the hood, when he really grew up in a nice suburb. Hes probably never cooked a meal for himself.
