He is a good actor but I think tobey maguire would be a better fit.
Tobey is essentially blacklisted by the Hollywood for being difficult to work with, box office poison, and his involvement with underground gambling (a subject of 2017 film Molly's Game).

I will give this a watch. If you want to see a good Napoleon movie, I highly recommend

OOOOH the hits keep on coming for Apple TV+!! This is mega-exciting! I love Joaquin and Ridley Scott is a legend.

That first look deal with Ridley Scott back in May 2020 is quickly bearing fruit. I wish the first look deals with JL Dreyfuss and Alfonso Cuaron would pay off though.

Joker sucked. I'm not impressed at all.
Maybe he'll do a better job with a cool historical figure than a fictional one from a franchise that's been squeezed dry. Everyone knows Napoleon, but searching for him + media gives you either Napoleon Dynamite or a Disney movie about a dog. So maybe this will be great.

Here's the first movie I've seen that actually made me fall asleep. Saw it again and it was boring, uneventful, overrated. and just s bad movie. I'm tired of making excuses.
Man that’s tricky. Should I ignore the opinion of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science, who nominated the film for best picture and awarded Phoenix with the best actor award?

Phoenix is one of the best actors of this generation. Joker was a testament to his talent. The transformation he endured for that role went beyond what most actors would even consider when signing for a film. That’s what the movie was about. Not every movie has to be CG fighting CG.

Looking forward to this - Scott is a safe pair of hands. Shame that Kubrick never got to make his version.
Well, Kubrick’s script was impressively researched but it seemed to me that the resulting movie would be rather boring. There is a Taschen book about Kubrick’s
Preparation and it has the script. Saw an expo about his unfilmed Napoleon and most impressive was a big paper spreadsheet to minutely prepare everything. But as I wrote, somehow the script seemed a bit flat to me. Of course he might well have made it a masterpiece nevertheless.

and today there's no better partner than Apple to bring a story like this to a global audience.
Hahahahahaaaa.... Unbelievable, how pompous Apple is with their marketing... Yes, probably there no better thing in the galaxy than Apple...

what?

“are you not entertained?!”

Joker was a work of art! I personally loved the performances, the melancholy drawn out and the direct depiction of society’s ignorance to mental illness a major issue that needs to be dealt with compassion and understanding my not pills and wellness police that end up violently hurting those in need.

peros ally I loved Joaquin’s dance moves as they’re a direct pull from many of Charlie Chaplins performances along with the editors using the perfect song “Smile” in the original trailer - which was originally written by non other than, Charlie Chaplin and specifically to be song by Nat King Cole in 1961- Nat couldn’t record it at the time as he already completed an album yet recorded it in 1962 for release on the next album in ‘63.

I haven't entertained at all lol the movie started at the end. Boring film. it was Taxi Driver but less action and the DC logo slapped on the movie.

it sounds like I'm crapping over the upcoming film but I'm not. I just know you just actors by their most popular and most recent work. His most recent work was horrible to me. I hope it's good though.
