That's the greatest expression. Can't wait to see it in iGary's 'tar.

Let's hope Steve doesn't get any ideas/advice from them though.

why not? Sony makes crap sofware and has crap ideas about copy protection , but they do make good hardware with excellent battery (minidiscs vs ipod) life that doesn't scratch as much as the ipod and imho has bettter sound quality (minidiscs vs ipod). Sony should just make hardware that integrates with iTunes, an impossible dream but a dream nevertheless.

Funny pic. This is one of the only images I've seen of Steve where he's out in the wild. Of all the pics I've seen of him from the past few years, he's been up on a stage doing his thing.

As far as the new Walkman goes, I think the "organic screen" is kind of neat.

Purple though, yeesh.

Lol, iGary should do something good with that.

yeah, it's just not fair to say you can fit 13,000 songs on a 20GB mp3 player. Sure, if all your music is compressed to 48kbps, which anyone could notice a difference at. Also, The battery life isn't gonna happen. Kinda flashy looking.
According to the manual for the HD5, (40 hour battery life at 48kbps), if you use mp3 at 128kbps, the battery life is about 20-25 hours, which is still more than the Sony reps admit themselves. If you assume that the lower battery life is exactly proportional to the extra number of time it would have to access the hard drive, it comes out at 15 hours, exactly the same as the colour screen iPod, (which requires more juice for that screen).

Sony have gone from a 20GB HD1, to a 20GB HD3, to a 20GB HD5 and finally a 20GB A3000. It's just a joke.

When are companies going to stop decieving the public with low kbps battery life lie? It will only hurt them when the consumer realizes the truth.

Wow that pretty nice, but it would NEVER beat the iPod...

iPod have come to a point that it could have a capacity of 12 songs but has a screen and clik wheel and it would still sell for 50$
