YESYep. They don’t have jobs or personal lives. They just sit reloading the MacRumors home page waiting for the chance to pounce on Jony right?

Sheesh! Don’t forget the voodoo doll of Jony too. I miss anything?YES

Like any true metrosexual, he's wearing SPANX...Looks like he slimmed down.
So you're taking action in your feeling that this multi billion dollar company is "ripping you off" and boycotting their products right? I know you're way too idealistic to give a terrible company like that your hard earned moneySheesh! Don’t forget the voodoo doll of Jony too. I miss anything?
I think what you’ll find is the responses are often a reaction to being ripped off, with low specs and feature removal without explanation. After a while people get annoyed. People want to spend their money on Apple products because they like them. They want to feel like they are getting a good deal, not the best deal but a good deal.
If I’ve already spent £3000 on a computer I damned well have the right to moan about it if it doesn’t live up to reasonable expectations. I don’t need to be nickel and dimed for a peripheral on top of that. I don’t need to be told that the bloody thing is proprietary and can only be repaired by the OEM. I don’t need to be told by the OEM when I finally get there that I need to replace the whole machine as it’s more cost effective than to repair or that upgrade is impossible.
Apple could have, but with current tech that would have made the device even thicker and bulkier than it already is, which is a complaint many have expressed aboutIt should have been launched as a standalone device.....
Not bought an Apple device in a while. Next……….So you're taking action in your feeling that this multi billion dollar company is "ripping you off" and boycotting their products right? I know you're way too idealistic to give a terrible company like that your hard earned money
Lol I was being purposefully antagonistic. But yeah. Apple's decision on things have been kinda...odd lately. Especially in the past year. Tablet market down? Increase the price of the iPad. Surely the problem people have had with the iPad and other Apple products was that they were too cheapNot bought an Apple device in a while. Next……….
#nottheonionLots of people still naively believe that Jonathan Ive is the one who designs things at Apple. I believe in those silent forces in their design lab who never get mentioned and have to feed this clown with ideas he gets credit for.
However, I do believe that he is the sole responsible for crippling many Apple devices with processes described as "thinning", "port reduction", ...
What a boring and uninspiring outfit.
You know... I see Ive, Phil and Cue as Apple's Mccartney. Hair force one, the hardware engineers, other software engineers, Scott were Apple's Lennon.
When Steve was alive, there was a balance in power. Since he died, Cook had to be CEO (face of the company, not part of the brain anymore. Beancounter), Scott is gone, and Ive/Phil/Cue got way more power. The balance was destroyed.
Consequence? The best beancounter on the planet has no one to put him in check, and despite having the best software and hardware engineers in the world, they are powerless against Ive, Phil and Eddy. Everything that comes out of Phil's mouth is pure ********. Ive needs someone to control his genius otherwise it all becomes excessive and narcissistic (rose gold. It's pink, dude.). Cue... I know nothing about him, but I know that he was in control of the MAS and iTunes and he killed both of them, as far as potential is concerned.
Steve itself doesn't seem very important to me. Apple was 100% the work of fantastic talented people. Steve wasn't a great engineer, or a great designer, or great at management. But he was great at putting those Paul Mccartney in check.
We see the result in Apple having the best products and ecosystem (iPhone 6s/6s plus/iPhone SE/iPad Pros/rMBP/iMac) and also the most useless, overpriced, outdated, foolish piece of garbage in the whole tech industry (Every iOS device being sold with 1GB of RAM or 16GB of onboard storage, HDD Macs, Macs with TN Panels, cMBP, Mac Pro with rebranded cheapass """""""""firepros"""""" and not pro at all.).
It all makes sense to me. Seeing Ive in that picture only intensifies this feeling.

I think Tim loves running a successful business more than anything. Steve loved running Apple more than anything. It's not that. It's that Tim Cook has no power. Nefarious forces took over Apple as Steve Jobs was dying. They are using Apple like they use everything else: for their agenda and as a cash cow.
Would you be more impressed if he wore 501s and a black mockneck for everything? What a boring and uninspiring outfit.
for no apparent reason, I can't not read this in Professor Farnsworth's voice Ō_ŌThinner Jony, thinner I tell you!
An iPhone with 16GB of ram.
