If Brave was such bad browser, how do you explain people moving from Safari, Chrome, and Firefox to it?

Same reason billions eat at McDonald's because they don't know any better and not because it's good for them. Once they realize it's bad for them they will stop just like finding out about Brave malware redirects.

People eat at Micky Ds because it is convenient. However, it's just as convenient to click on one browser as it is on another. I have seen no credible evidence that Brave is unsafe in any way. However, I have seen lots of evidence that google is a slime company that cares about nothing else except making money.

There is a miscommunication here. I am talking about Brave SEARCH not the browser. Brave is releasing a new brave search engine competitor to Google.

We'll all survive when google goes away. To state otherwise is nothing more than FUD.

idk, some internet infrustracture is reliant on it. Many businesses rely on Google Docs, many people have accounts with Gmail. In fact many devices run on the Android and ChromeOS. The whole YouTube will disappear.

We will survive but we will take a hit. Need to migrate first, a transition period.

Show me the Google is a slime company

- Can quit? I use Search, Gmail, Docs, and YouTube because they're hands-down the best. Wouldn't want to stop. I don't use their other stuff.
- All my friends do it? IDK, I don't care to ask my friends what websites they use O_0 and none of Google's products have a "network effect" really like Facebook does.
- I have nothing to hide? Mostly true. When I want to hide something, I hide it well; just using Apple's services or something instead isn't going to cut it. If others want to hide more, they can go ahead and not use Google, but that's their choice and not mine.

Thank you!

Just look up Brave if you're wondering. If you don't care, which is fine, then idk why you're using Brave in the first place. If you object to Google's business model, you should see what Brave's is. If you think Google is sneaky, you should see what Brave was caught doing. It's like going to Taco Bell cause you heard McDonald's is bad for you.

(I object to both, btw, and trust Mozilla, esp knowing that RT News hates em.)

i don’t use either, but I disagree. And look spell check is awful. Why on earth would my i device start off with i and not I. Pos

Not using any of them gives you a good area of expertise on the subject then. Not sure what idea is behind the rest of your post. Spell check?

Easy fix for that.

So I can’t comment on this topic, because I don’t use a mapping service lol?

I use plenty google product and will continue to do so. And when I do need a map app, other than my factory navigation, I will use Google earth.

My point about spell check, how on earth can you trust a tech company who can’t even get a good spell check/auto correct to work

I’m not arguing that you cannot comment I just put your expertise in perspective.
And this silly I-thing that they have going on in their marketing for the last 20+ years is now a reference point for spell checks?

Apple slowly lost the magic. It’s good. Good luck .
