I wish I could get my hard drive on some high res. Apple stock photos. Like the ones they use in the ipod line and in their stores.

There is some great photography there...

I guess I'll just hire models and do it myself...

Yeah, I was thinking about bringing my iPod mini into the store and "jacking in" to get some of those photos. I'm sure you'd get in big trouble if they caught you doing it though! Some of those beach and mountain shots are just spectacular.

Well, here is mine. Sorry that it is low quality but that picture kinda small when I get it first and I did a tighter cropping on it.
I blured offensive parts so it is save to watch by minors. Enjoy.

nudity in the desktop.. there's something I've never done.

It is my first time too. However, now I get the feeling it wont be the last :D
I am single so it works for me, no girlfirend or wife looking over shoulder and complaining.

Hmm...girlfriend? Perhaps it is time to find one. ;)

I suppose that now would be a good time to note that the full picture is visible in your desktop thumbnail...

I did notice that, but come on, you can't see much of her.

If any one finds those pics offensive or inappropriate I can pull them off?

You can either host the image at ImageShack or you have to reduce the quality and post it as an attachment. The former is preferred for larger shots because:
- It doesn't force people on smaller screens to scroll sideways to see your desktop
- Degrading quality on larger images is much more noticable.

If you just want to share a quick shot for a laugh, or have a small screen (I have a 12" (1024x768) and compressing the jpg is good enough) then just attach the image, otherwise host it at ImageShack which is free if you are wondering ;)

Not a problem.

If you check the properties on the images you can see where they are being linked from (ie where they are being hosted) and can therefore see what people use. I recommended Imageshack because it is free and easy, direct thumbnail linking is nice, etc etc. A lot of people use their .mac accounts, personal websites, etc however since I don't currently have access to my website I have to use Imageshack too, which if you have an awesome background that people want, using Imageshack can spare your site some bandwidth perhaps ;)
