edit: nope no dual monitors...

After a little digging I found the app. It's Cocktail.

Cocktail --> Interface --> Dock --> Position [Bottom] --> Placement [Start]

Sorry for the confusion. 😎

Sorry to bombard the thread, but is there a cheaper alternative to CoverSutra? I converted it to Australian dollars and it would be 35 🙁 The app is awesome though

I actually don't know of any app that does what CoverSutra does that does it for free. There are numerous that do something kind of similar to CoverSutra -- like ByteController (for controlling iTunes) + Growl (to display artwork) and a slew of others -- but none of them will display the artwork as beautifully as CoverSutra does.

how would one change their dock appearance to something like yours??

Looks like a combination of things:
  • Dock Spacers
  • AlBook Icon Set + LiteIcon (or CandyBar)
  • TransparentDock or ClearDock (to make the background transparent)

Very good eyes. 🙂
I used CandyBar for the icons, and ClearDock for the background. The dock spacers are part of the Albook icon set.

Did you create that yourself ? what font is "Cupertino" ?

Yep, I made it myself. I obviosuly used the name 'Cupertino' as a reference to Apple 😉

The font is called 'Myriad Pro' (I used the semi-bold variation). It's the typeface Apple use.

Using my trusty 500Mhz TiBook 🙂
It just never seems to slow down...

Isn't that the truth. Mine is still going strong too. Are you going to attempt the jump to Leopard? I've got mine maxed to a gig, but I'm not sure if I will upgrade it due to the weak V-RAM
