June 23 delivery date IS accurate

who cares? it's one day. If it was a week's difference, I'd understand caring about that if you were sorely anticipating the phone. But whether you get it on Wed. (which apparently is an impossibility) or Thursday, you ARE getting it this week, unlike many people. Look at it this way: you have something to look forward to on Thursday.
This happens every year. They won't be delivering them until Thursday for almost everyone. There will be that one guy, however, that does get it early.
What? My fedex tracking number states the 23rd, just like a lot of other people on this forum.
I see my analogy bothered some people maybe I should have gone with the Easter bunny hides the easter eggs? 
I will personally guarantee you some will fall through the cracks and get delivered on the 23rd.
REMEMBER that iPad launch? Some folks got them a day early also. Can't control a half million deliveries w/o a few slip ups.

While I do agree that fedex will actively try to hold it until the 24th to satisfy their agreement with apple i hate to break it to all the people who insist on their experience in these matters, who fail to learn completely from them.
Because every time these launches occur, even though fedex is supposed to hold them, two things inevitably happen:
1. a small percentage of people do get them a day early
2. you can bet there will be some mistakes and some people with get something they didn't order and others will not get something they did. (especially considering the complications of this launch)
These two things always happen and this will be no exception. I pretty much guarantee some ppl will get their phones on the 23rd.

My FedEx tracking number says 6/23 by 10:30am.
I am still not expecting it on the 23rd, don't get me wrong. But my tracking number as well as my e-mail from Apple both say 23rd.
I wouldn't lie about a freaking phone. Like I said, I'm not EXPECTING it a day early, I was just pointing out that my tracking number and my Apple e-mail both SAY 6/23.
Gotcha. It says "estimated delivery". Like you said it won't be delivered until the 24th. But you never know. You might be one of those lucky ones that gets it a day early.
FedEx says mine will b delivered 23 by 10:30 am. I don't care either way but it would b nice!

3. There will be people coming into this forum on Wednesday who will claim to have gotten their iphone early. They will make multiple threads about it and more than a dozen or so people will get themselves all worked up screaming that they are lying and demanding that the posters show proof with a picture. Of course the posters wont show a picture and this will go on and on all day long.
It will be a lot of fun to watch.
