What kind of 42mm Watch did you get? I ordered the 42mm Space Grey with Black Sports Band on April 24th and have no delivery window other than "June".
I'm really debating whether or not to cancel. I'm not going to reward Apple by giving them more money and ordering a more expensive watch. They should be making nothing but 42 mm SG until all watches are on par with each other. An entire quarter to get these made? Nuts.
I honestly don't see the point in canceling unless you plan on not getting one at all.
If you still plan on getting it, why cancel? You'll just have to wait until it goes in store. So you're still waiting. Also, it's most likely going to be limited in store at first, so you'll have to chance it going in store. Either way, you're waiting. What you have right now is a given. Just hold on.
That's my two cents, anyway.
To be honest I am, now rethinking the watch. I've bought a leather loop band that was not shipped. So if I get the band I will have no watch. If I keep the band and want to return it later my window will be closed. I could possibly be waiting more than a quarter with the outside chance a second gen will be announced months after.
I'm going to sleep on this but if my watch gets pushed back to July I will be canceling my wife's as well as my own.
Same here, exactly. The only update was my card being billed $49 today for the AppleCare, but apparently that's not necessarily "a sign".
Yeah I think its just Apple making sure that cc account is still good. I got charged again to for apple care.
Got some dates today instead of just "June"; now June 22 - 29. Really hoping for it to move up to start of June.

Probably note. Pre-orders need to come before walk ins. Assuming they stick with that, then we are talking about "in store" availability being no earlier than July and possibly not until August.

When was your order confirmation? I'm just going out on a limb here and assuming that you're a 42mm SG BSB.
I'm 4/11/15 3:42pm EST, still have a vague "June" shipping date. No updates with even a date range.
I just checked mine. Now (ordered 42mm SS WSB on 4/13/15) the shipping is like yours June 22-29. I ordered my sport on 4/10/15 and got it on the launch day. This SS, only 3 days apart, won't come till the end of June

Wow that is rough. I'm a 42ss with bsb. Confirm on 4/14 11:00 Est. it should be in my signature now.
I bet you haven't gotten an update because they might give you an even earlier update than June 22.

I just thought of something. The Visa I used when I ordered back in April, actually expires 7/15 & Apple hasn't charged it yet, my delivery date is now June 26 - July 6. How far in advance of shipping are cards being charged? The last thing I want is any more delay because of something as stupid as this. The new card hasn't arrived yet either. Ironically.
if you were charged already, you should see a change in status to "preparing for shipment" shortly.... then it's 1-2 days max to have it delivered

Originally June, changed to June 22 - June 29 yesterday. Talked to support yesterday after 2 calls were dropped by them, support had no further info, so no help there. Really disappointed at how poorly this launch was handled.

Not sure about that. I paid cash for SGS black band with apple care 4/17 and I'm in June. One would think cash might get preference over credit card order. Nope.

haha... just got an update today that my order is coming... drumroll... in 5-6 weeks. June 22-29 delivery date. so i guess this is a "June" shipment "as promised"...

Yep changed for me yesterday. It's totally ridiculous. People with preorders from 4/10 lumped together with orders from a few days ago ALL with the same date ranges. These dates cannot be real. Just replacing the generic June placeholder with a hard target placeholder.
Brace yourself, people telling you to "suck it up" and trying to justify the date are coming.
I think everyone is pretty frustrated at this point. Apple doesn't owe anyone an explanation but some of these decisions seem very un-Apple.
