XP? I am not running XP at all, I have been a mac os x user since before OS X was in beta since well.. sources.. That screenshot is of Tiger 10.4.1. Anyway wClock takes about .2% of my cpu and 2MB of Ram while buttler takes 0-1% depending on use and currently uses 5MB of ram. Not sure about menu meters since i think the application is combined to the windowserver process. Other then that all the hacks are system files, I don't run any other 3rd party hacks.

I know your not running XP and I know that is 10.4, I wasn't trying to say otherwise. I was attempting to state then when I was running visual mod apps (like StyleXP) on my own PC box I noticed some stability issues (restart Explorer more often) and general additional windows crap that happened more often.

The shot is way too beaufitul to be a pc :p

I apologize for my rude correction then, I take it back. I have seen a few mods for XP to look nearly identical to XP and thought you were saying that. Anyway you are right some theme applications imo are system hogs, however can't say since I haven't used them since early in their development.

And thank you.

aah i got a new one..

Gotta love the Hurley

Been looking for this picture (a decent scan) forever and finally got a hold of one. One of my favorite model shots of all time...and she's a superMILF.

Feel free to knock my Netflix selections & general Dashboard clutter.

Hey, what NetFlix widget is that? I have DashFlix, but that looks much more minimalistic and wastes much less space than DashFlix.

Mariah again :D I think I'm actually starting to get a hang of this Mac thing.

Forgive my ignorance, but who is she? She is gorgeous...

My god man, have you been living under a rock? It's Elizabeth Hurley!
I guess ignorance is bliss in this case, you have a lot of catching up to do with this lady...too bad she's kind of a prat off camera.

To the other question, I was using the Dashflix Mini widget. It's for those of us without ginormous screen real estate. You can find it via Apple or the developer of the big one.

It is very rare that I change the desktop on my ThinkPad (and even more rare when the image comes from anywhere other than Ferenc J. Haraszti collection), but I happened to like this one.

Ah the pain on my eyes

Can you actually see anything on that? I nearly had to search for your dock....but I guess to each his/her own.

What icon set is that? and where could one find it if one were interested? ;)

The icons can be found at www.iconfactory.com from the Kill Bill set.

The desktop will change real soon cus its hideous. We have a competition to find the crappest desktops at work. I'm winning.

I'm glad your winning, I shudder to think that there could be desktops too much more hideous than that one. Its basically taking the smallest image of all time, then setting it to tile. Cheaper and more sickening than a rollercoaster ride :)

Edit: Thanks for the link. I had the KillBill icons from the initial set but they only included the drive with the letter/word in japanese?? on it.

The desktop is from origami paper.
But some we've had are truely bad. Maybe a new thread can be born from this.
