I'll come late and add my 12" PB desktop:

It's not Mac OS, but the only reason I don't have a Mac right now is because I'm waiting for the iBook updates :)

Slackware Linux 10.1

You do that, post a picture, and I'll chuckle at you both :)

I know what you mean. Personally I don't think I have that many useful apps, actually no-where close that I can think of. I have the basic apps and ultra high-use ones in the dock always, and then I threw some folders linked to alias' on the right-hand side of the dock. I guess between the four folders they are linking to 30+ apps and some files, however some of those are just once a week or even longer....so I hardly count them.
start laughing now...

The only app I forgot was starcraft because it is in a seperate folder...and I am too lazy to go back and redo the screenshot.

Hey All, this is my first desktop post! Just got a Powermac G4!

Are you sure it's a powermac and not powerbook? What size monitor do you have with the powermac?

The res. from your wallpaper seems to appear to be 1280x1024 (15" LCD would do this). You either have a powerbook 12" or a powermac with the res. set low.

Just curious.

Cheers.

Ha, nicely done. It is a little more impressive on a larger screen, however the effect is the same and it would still drive me a little bonkers. I guess depending on zoom nearly anyone could ''fill'' the dock from side to side however. I only have 9 apps always there, with Trash and four other folders, so total only 14 items when not running my ''base'' apps.

On your pic, I don't recognize a few apps and was curious to their name/purpose. My unknowns are:
The two between Safari and Adium
Between AdressBook and iTunes

Then I recognize the rest, however what skin is that for Adium? I really like it, classic and simple. Also, I noticed a few of your buddies have what looks like an antenna behind their name for status....what does that mean?

Probably my last desktop update for June. A picture of the moon I took Tuesday night. The color was already quite yellow in nature with that great smog look  I PSed the color to a great envious green by dropping the temp. and shifting the tint to greens. Just for a mix-up, I also solarized it just to get the effect....

Mobile device.

That was my assumption, just most of the skins I have used or have seen for Adium show a mobile device as a little phone or PDA looking thing, I have not seen a broadcast symbol like that before.

Was the point of that to make your dock as full as possible?

I should take a screen of my dad's dock. It has possibly twice as many as that, I have no idea how he uses it, you have to be very patient when clicking an app.

And he doesn't use magnification either.

Yes, the point was to make it as full as possible, just for fun. We had started a mini-discussion on that point in regards to my noticing how full emw's dock was on his desktop post.

Sure you can.
Give me a size and color you would like, I can modify it off the raw image if you want, or if you want the green and solarized green ones, just give me a size. It is really easy and quick to do, so just ask for what you want, I don't mind.

Just the two you posted, I can play with them in photoshop.

Holy mother of mary, that is rediculous. The best part is all the time you took to flood the dock and now the time you will take (I hope) to remove it all, although both steps are quite easy, it still takes some time.

Rediculous, I'm not even sure I have that many apps total! I probably do...but you get the idea, that is a lot!

PM me and we can figure it out. The only way to get file sizes down is a SaveForWeb which kills all the color information. Just send me a note with an email or something and I can send you a larger image with proper color.

Oh, everything I posted was cropped 1024, so unless you have a 12" *Book, give me a size you want.
Anyone else, just PM me with your details if you want something.

I actually don't have that many apps at home.
I'm at work and I work for my local schoolboard. So we have a ton of apps for doing all sorts of little things to make the kids lives easier.
Normally I only have 21 things in my dock.
Putting things in the dock was harder than taking them out as I didn't want to put something I already had as it would move it. Essentially my normal dock ends at preview. All that other stuff is what I added.

Something that sped it up a bit was that you can put more than one app into the dock at once.

efoto, I PMed you my email address for you to send me those pictures.
