Who's to say it'll last two hours? It's not WWDC. They could easily talk about their biggest ever product for an hour and a half and announce nothing else.
LOL, "biggest ever product," more like "biggest ever toy."

I just feel that Apple is not going to be treating the Apple Watch as an "also" product.
... regarding all the comments on not buying the rMBA the first go around due to it being a gen 1 product...isn't it actually a gen 3 product?
Just because the screen is updated and a different processor and different numbers of ports...its still an evolution of the MBA...
So you can't wait 4 months for this rumored mba you apparently were set on getting if it were coming out this next week?
No:
1. my wife's 17 MBP is irreparably broke (graphics card issue making its display unusable, costing ~$1k to repair) and she needs a new computer ASAP.
2. my 2012 RMBP (15.4 inch) has lots of problems (random shut downs, screen material flaking off, audio out not working) and needs to go to Apple Care, but I can't send it in until I have a new laptop since this is my only computer. I need to get it done however asap because of 1 (she will get the RMBP as soon as it's fixed).
3. I need a laptop with better battery life. The 2012 RMBP's are not good in that department. I'd also like a lighter computer.
4. I'm not going to buy a computer with outdated tech like the current gen Air's.
5. I deplore the gigantic bezel on the Air's (what a poor design decision really, necessitated by the other bad idea to taper the edges to give the false illusion of reduced thickness). Ive/Jobs must have been at burning man when that decision was made.
6. I'm also not going to put up with a non-IPS display. And I'd even accept the pathetically low resolution of the current Air's if they were IPS. But a 1440x900 TN panel in 2015? Come on.
I'm waiting until tomorrow. If there's no redesigned Air, I'll move on.
Yep
The MacBook Air's on sale right now are having a refresh, releasing the new Retina Air would draw customers away from Air refresh.
Who's stupid now?
Who's stupid enough to actually come back on the forums just to say that?

So I presume this is not one of the models that is know to have this problem? Apple is still fixing some of them well past the warranty, and I believe I read of an "unofficial" program where they're fixing some others outside of the official window of eligible manufacturing dates. Just something to look into if you haven't already, since this sounds like the problem Apple has already ~admitted is a defect on some MBPs.
Thanks for asking. At least when we asked a genius last year about it he said it wouldn't be covered under warranty. But we should double check (she loves the 17" display size for getting stuff done).
