Not too bad, funny in parts, but it wasn't great IMO. The soundtrack wasn't too bad at all, but the "teen language" used was completely ridiculous quite often, waaaay too try-hard.

There was something about it that was... just fabulous! It was odd, it was spunky, it was fresh, new, an idea that hadn't been out already. I just loved the youth in it! The scripting was funny but also a little odd. It wasn't a great movie, but I just loved it!

ok so i saw this movie this last week. at first i hated it, then about about 15min after the movie i started to ponder it. I LOVE IT NOW!!!!
i saw it for the second time today.
absolutely brilliant.

Well, I've finally watched Juno and it's a wonderful film.

Funny script, great performances (Ellen Page for an OSCAR? Jennifer Garner can actually act! :p ) plus a wonderful, wonderful soundtrack.

:)

Definitely seconded on the soundtrack... I got an iTunes gift card for Christmas and my first purchase was that soundtrack.

The movie was great too, but I particularly love the soundtrack :p

Saw it last week. Good film but I agree with others about the dialogue, it sounded like it was written by good scriptwriters but it was entertaining none the less.

Ellen Page is awesome!

My wife and I saw it about a month ago, and loved it. I do think some of the dialog was a little too forced, but overall the movie really struck a chord with me. Two things that stood out:

Juno's parents. For some reason I love the way they were written. They just seemed 'real' to me, whatever that means.

The moment where Juno tells Jennifer Garner's character she should be lucky that she doesn't have to go through the inconvenience of pregnancy, and Garner's obvious hurt by that comment. I thought that was a good example of the strength of the writing.

I thought it was very "meh", and quirky for the point of being quirky. I actually found it somewhat obnoxious and vaguely insulting.

loved the soundtrack, but the comedy part of it even though it was good in parts,it looked very "forced" in others..."if i could have the thing right now i'd give it to you? but i ll just keep it in the oven, it must look like a seamonkey right now??" wayyyyy too forced...

I was never too impressed with Juno's soundtrack, though it never appalled me either. Today, however, I watched Dedication (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0490579/), and realized how truly appalling the music in Juno is.

Juno as an "independent film" should be embarrassed compared to this soundtrack.

Oh I also want to say, that my original review is a little off... There is a special place in my heart for Juno, but it mostly due to the ending. The last quarter of the movie is when we truly get "the stuff" of the script.

Definitely one of my favorite movies of all time. I just cant wait till it comes out on DVD. :) The soundtrack was amazing too!
