I'll probably go back to iPhone when they release a larger AMOLED screen. Hopefully they can get away from Samsung and get a better supplier for more advanced OLEDs.

Let’s see if someone posts a screenshot of the correct date. We literally have 3 different answers to the amount of time you have to put Apple Care on the X
I know this is about the X, but it can depend on the Apple Genius. I brought my 11 month old Mac Book Pro in for a check and he offered to sell me AppleCare for it because my 1yr warranty was about to expire in a month 😉

I mean I agree with you about breaking away, but competitors have some catching up to do to reach Samsung's level.

Samsung is never going to sell Apple their most recent OLED screens. So you're always going to be a generation behind, even though they're still very good.

I just ordered mine yesterday so I should be getting it in 2-3 weeks. I'm also quite excited. 🙂

Apple Care was included with my insurance as well, yes T-Mobile.
They finally have it through Sprint. It’s nice to have “double” coverage.

For OP: Someone on this forum wrote about accidentally dialing 911 when he held the power and volume buttons in his pocket. By default, Automatic 911 is on. If you want this capability it is there. For myself, I turned it off in Settings.

My only advice to you specifically, is don't go looking for problems with it, enjoy it for what it is and don't read too deep into everything on a tech forum.
This.

I was out of town with family on release weekend. Picked up my phone on Friday morning, then I was gone until Sunday evening. I enjoyed my phone quite a bit. The look, the feel, the screen, the pictures, everything was just fantastic. Even when my sister and I would take the same photos, mine looked miles better than her 7+. Overall, it was easily the most impressed I’ve ever been by a phone.

Then when I got home and actually had time to peruse the internet, I started reading this forum again, and man... it was such a drag. I just couldn’t believe all of the negativity I was seeing here.

iPhone X is much more enjoyable when you don’t read the internet. Most forums and comment sections are pure cancer nowadays.

Everyone is negative about something on the internet. This is always my go-to pic for people that just can't be happy:
