just bought the high end 13" MBP

decided to stay with the high end 13" mbp. 15 would be overkill and is really difficult to carry around. thanks for all the input.

I have the base model 13" and love it. For your uses, the base model would probably suffice. The difference in performance I'd experience - with my uses - wasn't enough to justify the higher end 13" for me (and I didn't want to move up to 15" b/c I like the portability of a 13").
