Just bought the iPhone 3G, should I return it & wait for the next gen iPhone?

Wow, thanks to everyone for all of the replies.

Some more specific info: I got the phone from Best Buy (yes, I know that I'm going to Hell), and there's no restocking fee if I do return it.

Now, for the cancellation fee with AT&T... I might have to look into that, because even if I do return the iPhone, I will just go right back to using my beat-up SLVR. The only thing I would drop would be the $30 extra for the data plan. My text messages and minutes are covered under a family plan.
 
I just bought a 3G because I decided that I don't necessarily need the new iPhone when or if it is released. The 3G was on sale for 99 bucks from at&t - refurbished - so it was more than worth it. I'm glad I did what I did.
