I have an reservation as well. I plan on showing up about an hour before my appointment so I hopefully can be first in my time window haha
I ordered around 2pm. 64gb space gray att. The in-store pick up was not an option. I wish it was. Now I either have to figure out a different place to ship it, or do a pick up at the ups store. Leaving itoin my door step will get it stolen. Big townhouse complex. Oh well.
Mine is still scheduled for delivery. Last year UPS didn't show up until almost 8pm. I should've chosen hold for pickup as I had the time to pick it up.

I'm going to have my iPhone delivered to my workplace, so none of the cons you mentioned.. plus someone's always at the front desk to sign for it and I can go grab it as soon as I get the UPS email saying the package is delivered
My appointment isn't till 4:15-4:30 (15 min time slots here), I've done it before at this time, I'll be in and out in 10 minutes.

It's always a great atmosphere at stores on launch day, I don't mind it taking a bit longer. They always prioritise people with reservations.

For us in the US that ordered from Verizon, they delivery Fed Ex? If so when do they usually arrive and can we pick it up at a center instead?

Considering its the best upgrade the S line has ever produced yeah it is for millions of people.
I'm not coming from the 6 plus so I can't comment but obviously people view it as a good upgrade.
