Just got a phone call from "UNKNOWN". I answered without looking to see who was calling and no one said anything. The few calls that I have gotten from numbers I did not recognize I block them from calling again but there is no number to block from this phone call.

Just wondering if this has happened to anyone here?

Unknown caller is common. Get them from time to time and on my flip phone has well. No biggie

My sisterling-in-law has an unlisted home number and when she calls me it shows up as unknown. It also shows up as unknown on our landline as well. However, when she calls my wife's cell (who has my sister in law in her address book), it identifies who's calling.

I've worked with allot of cops and they ALWAYS *67 before making a call, especially on their personal phones but also on police phones, its not fun explaining to your boss why a bunch of people have the number to his personal extension! Its also annoying if a private number becomes more often used instead of rarely used. I had a situation a couple of months back and a police officer needed to use my phone (we were in an area where his provider didn't have service what so ever) so he dialed *67 first since it was a sensitive matter.
