received my text 15.54 yesterday. I've also seen on other blogs/news that O2 will he accepting pte-orders from 4th July. Spoke to an O2 staff member yesterday and he mentioned nothing about preordering. He just confirmed that they will be opening from 7am, it will be a 1st come 1st serve basis and current iPhone customers can come in to upgrade.
